Vegan MoFo: Orange soup and Dylan Moran

Butternut squash, carrots, red lentils, tomato, cumin, chilli, coriander, cinnamon... all somewhere on the colour spectrum between brown and red, all come together to make a very yummy orange soup!

Last night I went to see the comedian Dylan Moran, star of Black Books, live in Vicar St here in Dublin. I love him, even though vegans seem to be his pet peeve!
He picks on vegans in an old-fashioned, uninformed 'living on grass' kind of way which I find find funny in its quaintness. He doesn't realise that I'm eating a vegan chocolate croissant as I type!

My favourite one-liner of the evening was 'Meat may be murder but tofu is fraud'.

Vegans are a pretty frequent topic which he's covered before.
Me thinks he likes the idea more than he lets on!

  1. I love Dylan Moran! He is forgiven for slagging vegans because he is so cute ^_^

  2. Haha, I agree! The chocolate croissant is one of the Jus-rol croissants w/Spar brand chocolate spread that I make way too much these days! :P
