The first cookbook I opened up this MoFo was Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World by Isa and Terry. Pictured is one of a small batch of cute little chocolate fairy cakes I made for a very good friend, (good enough to deserve things being baked for them!) using the book's basic chocolate cake recipe, accompanied by the fluffy butter-cream icing, also from the book, which for fun I made red and covered with sugar baubles. I halved the cake recipe and ended up with 8 cakes.
