Vegan MoFo: Little pot of Alpro vanilla dessert heaven



I could eloquently describe how perfectly the flavours combine and the textures contrast, or the ritualistic way the two come together on the spoon, but really it can be summarised as- Alpro vanilla soya dessert + specloos spread = yummy! 

If you can't get your hands on Speculoos (I recently had two different people bring it back for me from Belgium!) chocolate spread (such as Spar own-brand) or peanut butter works equally well, any fat-based spread would be perfect.

Get a teaspoon of your spread of choice, scrape some into the edge of the pot, while keeping some on the spoon. With each mouthful you grab a little bit of the spread and create the simple but divine mixture of light, whipped custard and a little bit of something heavier that just melts on the tongue

  1. Sounds yummy! I like the chocolate dessert with a dollop of peanut butter. The must give the vanilla pot a go :-)

  2. Heya Laura, thanks for commentign! That chocolate and peanut butter combo sounds good, I'll have to buy some of the chocolate Alpro desserts and give it a go!
