Continuing my theme of places to get lunch that are near work, here is a meal from Cornucopia. Cornucopia is near enough to work to go there for lunch, but it tends to get quite busy so for me it is more of a dinner spot. I have been going there for years, and it is a good place to bring non-vegan friends for a nice sit-down yet casual meal. Cornucopia is a vegetarian place, but I have noticed it becoming more vegan-friendly over the last few years, more vegan desserts, more vegan cheese.
I can't remember the exact details of what this meal was, I think that the cake was lemon and raspberry and the main was a fajita filled with beans and veg, topped with guac and vegan cheese. Its not the cheapest, and sometimes I find the desserts a bit whole-foody, but it is a long-time vegetarian institution in Dublin for a reason.
I've heard so many good things about Cornucopia, it's probably the main reason Dublin is on my wish list! The portions look very generous, so it seems like my kind of place.
ReplyDeleteHi! I like Cornucopia, but its not my favourite restaurant ever. Its good for wholesome food, but Gopal in Barcelona still holds my heart! Let md know if you're ever in Dublin!
