Veggie Burgers That Don't Fall Apart
My success story of the day! I managed to make veggie burgers that don't fall apart! I used this recipe for kidney bean burgers I found on VegWeb (I'm a bit of a VegWeb junkie, they have a recipe for everything you could ever want!). I used oats instead of breadcrumbs, purely because its easier, you don't have to blend them up or toast them like you do with bread. The burgers are a little soft while cooking but once you're nice to them and handle them with care they do hold up nicely when cooked, thanks most likely to the egg replacement powder. I had one for my lunch and the rest are freezing away in the freezer, like good little burgers!
