After my success with my lower-calorie muffins, I thought I would put my leftover apple compote to use and experiment with another lower-calorie recipe. I have always loved chocolate chip cookies, so I thought why not give them a go. I found this recipe from Nava Atlas' website. It looked easy and I had all the ingredients, so I followed the recipe pretty closely, except that I used white self-raising flour and only used 15g of chocolate chips.
I made 16 small cookies and according to my handy app, they are 80 calories each. They are definitely softer and cakier than chocolate chip cookie recipes I have made before but still sweet and delicious. You can't go wrong with chocolate chips...
