I picked up these Irish vegan fairtrade dark chocolate bars from Clonakilty Chocolates at the Dublin Tea and Coffee festival a couple of weeks ago. The company also makes non-vegan milk chocolate, but their vegan options are clearly labelled and come in some interesting varieties. After weighing up my options I decided on Hazelnut and Pink Himalayan Salt. 72% chocolate to me is quite light (have I blogged about the Lindt 99% dark chocolate?).
The chocolate is light, not bitter and not too sweet. The salted chocolate is a bit saltier than other salted chocolates I have tried, more salty than sweet, which I really enjoyed. The hazelnut chocolate is generous with the hazelnuts, which is always appreciated. Lovely chocolate from a lovely company.
