Bit of a Teese...

I know that Teese cheese has been available in its native US for a while, but it only really seems to be landing in Europe. I saw it in the Veganoteca and thought why not give it a try, I'm determined to try as many vegan cheeses are possible while they're so readily available. As you can see above I made a pizza with it.

While the cheese must be commended for its aesthetic, it can't be equally praised for its taste. It isn't awful, it's just a bit tasteless. I know that mozzarella isn't supposed to be a sharp cheese but Teese is just a bit insipid for my taste. UK rival Redwoods Cheezly mozzarella doesn't melt as nicely but tastes alot better, which to me is much more important. Even though it's never nice to spend money on something you didn't particularly love, that's part of the adventure of trying new things.
