I have, amongst other things, been following a few of the this year's MoFo blogs (can anyone really follow all 700 + of them?) and knitting. There are discount shops everywhere here, which I call 'todo shops' because they always have signs saying 'todo desde 60c', that sell balls of vegan wool for less than a euro and needles for even cheaper so I thought why not!
This is my third time learning how to knit. I remember at one stage in my long-forgotten youth knitting a scarf for my Ken, which I'm sure he really appreciated. Then when I was about 15 I learned again but left my skills to rust until now. I can just about knit plain and purl, although patterns still intimidate me. Everyone's getting holey scarves for Christmas!
