'Lick it!', an ice-cream maker and subsequent adventures

I just picked up a cheap second-hand, never-used Kenwood ice-cream maker and am quite content that there will be various wonderfully flavoured ice-creams in my future! I borrowed 'Lick it!' (awful name, great book!) from the library once again in order to give it a proper go with my new appliance.

I really want to make the kind of overly elaborate flavours that haven't been commercially veganised (in Europe anyway) like caramel-rockyroad-chocolate-peanutbutter-cookiedough-macadamia-maple-swirl. Well, that may be a bit of an exaggeration, but a girl can dream!

My first foray into the ice-cream underworld is my delicious version of the popular 'phish food', which I've given the silly name fish-and-cow-friendly food!
Its chocolate ice-cream (recipe from 'Lick it!') with chocolate pieces and Dandies marshmallows stirred in. It's pretty fantastic, but in fairness how could something with two entire chocolate bars melted into it not be!
