Propercorn Smooth Peanut and Almond popcorn, Lazy Days Tiffin and Red Bean Mochi

I wasn't sure what to expect from peanut and almond popcorn, whether it would be sweet or savoury, but I really liked it. It is a little bit sweet and a little bit salty, striking a nice balance between the two. It reminded me a bit taste wise of peanut butter on rice cakes.

Lazy Days is a brand I have always seen in Holland & Barrett but have never bought, as I tend to buy accidentally vegan biccies from the supermarket, such as bourbon creams, hobnobs and oreos. But the Lazy Days tiffin is something a bit different, and is just as delicious as it looks. It has bits of dried fruit and biscuit in a slab of chocolate that is dense but not too heavy.

Mochi is one of my favourite treats from the Asian Market, and I love the classic red bean flavour. If you are unfamiliar with mochi, it is difficult to describe as it is very different to western-style cakes texture wise. It is soft and sweet and delicious and I recommend giving it a chance! Some brands have milk proteins (boo hiss), but check the labels, alot of brands are suitable for vegans.

  1. I love the Lazy Days range! The Millionaire's Shortbread is amazing, as is the Ginger Crunch. If only they weren't so expensive!
