Vegan g/f doughnuts and a kind veggie bagel in Dublin

I saw on the Vegi and Vegan Dublin Twitter feed (@VegandVeganDub) that Antionette's bakery does vegan doughnuts, so (of course) I went along to check it out. I feel like Dublin is missing quality vegan desserts, but maybe living in Barcelona spoiled me.

The bakery is entirely gluten-free, but only the doughnuts were vegan the day I went. According to their website, they can make egg and dairy-free cakes to order. In the bakery yesterday there were two varieties of their doughnuts available, chocolate and cinnamon, both of which were equally delicious. Extra points for the cute patterned plates and green tea soya latte!

The kind veggie bagel from Itsa Bagel. A bagel with houmous, avocado, roasted red peppers, what's not to love! This has been on the menu for years and it is great to have a such a visible vegan option in a bagel chain.

  1. Those doughnuts really do look great. I also wish I could get a bagel like that down here, our local bagel chain, bagelman, insists on putting honey in all of their bagels!

  2. Heya Jojo! Yeah I hate when something that would be vegan otherwise has honey in it, grr! So unnecessary!
