A tale of three vegan cheeses

Vegan cheese to me is very much an occasional thing, for when the mood strikes me. I always keep some grated Cheezly in the freezer for pizzas but other cheeses are a rare purchase. Today I dipped into the three vegan cheese brands available here, Sheese, Redwoods and Tofutti.

I used to think that Tofutti cream cheese was too sweet, it probably still is, but now it reminds me of Gopal!

The only Sheese I've ever tried is the creamy Sheese, which was okay but I haven't had the urge to buy it again (sometimes the heart knows what it wants!).
I love trying new and unusual food, and smoked cheddar sounded pretty great, considering my love of smoked tofu. While it is very much edible I'm still undecided as to whether it goes beyond the taste middle-ground!
Also I know it has nothing to do with the taste of the cheese but I like that the Sheese packages are re-sealable (unlike Cheezly *cough*).
