Desserts, tofu and soya milk powder

Another round-up of various products...

Redwoods is an amazing company which makes really good vegan cheeses and meats, however I don't think desserts are their speciality. These (assumably) lol-cat inspired pots are nice but not amazing, a little bit flat flavour-wise. There definitely is room in the market for soya-free desserts but unfortunately these aren't nearly as good as the Alpro dessert pots.

It no Taifun smoked tofu, but its savoury and tasty, a great fridge staple for sandwiches and salads.

When I saw them in the Asian market, I thought these sachets of soya milk powder might be good to have with me to add to coffee or tea in the absence of soya milk. I stand by the idea, but Asian soya milk is much beanier than Western soya milk (as I learned in Japan) and if I were to put this powder in coffee/tea I would add alot of sugar (and I don't normally sweeten coffee/tea).
