I found Dr Oetker Vege-Gel vegetarian gelatine in Tesco. It's a mixture of carageen, locust bean gum and dextrose. At €1.81 a packet is much cheaper than agar (which I've seen at anywhere from €5-€7 per packet)
I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do with it, I'd love to make marshmallows but that'll be a bit of a project!
Grape-and-muffin lunches were a pre-vegan, school lunch favourite of mine, which is now veganised! One of my home-made toffee-apple muffins and mixed seedless grapes.
