I found the holy grail of biscuits in the Asian Market in Drury St yesterday- non-European, ie vegan, Oreos!
To be honest, I only really bought these because I could, I never had Oreos as a child and therefore can't miss them.
They're quite nice I must say, they remind me of bourbon creams, except the biscuits are thinner and made out of darker chocolate.
They also had strawberry and chocolate cream varieties but I thought I'd try the original.
I always wondered why people said Oreos were vegan when all the ones I saw had milk in them-reckon I'll have to get myself to an Asian Market quick sharp...
ReplyDeleteEuropean ones aren't vegan but for some reason American ones and Asian ones are *shrugs shoulders*, its a bit of a mystery!
