Nākd coconut bliss nibbles, eaten at lunch while reading on my Kindle. I like the coconut nibbles, but don't love them. They contain cocoa powder but aren't really chocolatey, I would like a stronger chocolate flavour.
I came across a few new goodies in Marks & Spencers; a quinoa and berry 80% dark chocolate bar, a cocoa and coconut fruit and nut bar and a cherry and cocoa fruit bar with popcorn. I haven't tried the dark chocolate yet, but I tried the two bars. The cocoa and coconut bar was similar to a Nākd bar, but the cherry and cocoa bar was something different. The texture was very soft, like soaked dried fruit, and the popcorn and soya beans dotted throughout were hard, unpleasant chunks. I ate it because the flavour was okay, but really didn't enjoy the texture, and wouldn't buy it again.
Deep Steep gloosy smoothing shampoo. As my hair gets longer, I have been experimenting with more products for frizzy/curly hair to keep it manageable. Alot of curly hair products contain animal-based ingredients such as silk or keratin, so I'm always keeping an eye out for vegan products containing plant-based proteins and silks. Although this shampoo is for colour-treated hair and my hair isn't dyed, it's a great product for frizzy hair. I found it discounted in TK Maxx.
The battle with sensitive acne-prone skin continues. I have been using the Laidbare Spot The Difference cream, like it and re-purchased it, but I also bought some Alba Acne Dote oil control lotion to try as an escalation for stubborn spots. So far it hasn't irritated my skin, but as it contains salicylic acid I am being very careful with it. Both were bought from Holland & Barrett.
