Sukin

While I was in Australia, the skin on my face broke out in both spots and psoriasis. Fun times. So I needed some sort of face cleanser/miracle product that could deal with sensitive skin and acne.

That's when I decided to try the Sukin Derma oil balancing wash. Sukin is a vegan Australian brand which produces a variety of toiletries for face and hair. In Australia it is available in every pharmacy, and prices are very reasonable. I saw nothing over $15, and great discounts can be found in the discount pharmacy.

The wash worked really well for my combination skin, and really helped reduce the acne without aggravating my psorasis. I've been using it every day for about a month now and I really recommend it. I bought a few bottles to bring home from Oz with me, as I've never seen it amongst the Sukin products available here. I have also been using the sensitive facial moisturiser. I would have loved a facial moisturiser specifically for oily or combination skin like the wash, but the sensitive moisturiser is good.

I also bought a few other Sukin bits to try; conditioner, micellar cleansing water, daily lotion, lip balm and deodorant. I haven't used the lotion or the deodorant yet, but I like the lip balm, cleansing water and conditioner. All of them smell like vanilla. Some Sukin products are available here in health food shops, but I haven't seen the full range or the Derma products. When I get to the end of my supply, I may have to go back to Oz... (or buy them off Amazon).
