I recently tried the Conscious Lucuma Gold raw white chocolate bar. I'm not normally one to spend over €4 on a bar of chocolate but I love white chocolate and there are so few good vegan options out there. I like that Conscious go to such as effort to make their bars from good quality wholesome ingredients and to make sure that they're suitable for everyone. Sadly, I was underwhelmed by this bar. It was okay but it was just missing something. Maybe its the creaminess, I don't know.
Meridian are another brand that I like, their nut butters are really nice and they label really clearly. However, like with the raw chocolate, just because I like the brand doesn't mean that I'll love the product. This was my first time trying Tikka Masala, so I don't know if its just this brand or if its tikka sauce in general but it was too sweet. I like my sweet things sweet and my savouries savoury, I don't like them mixed up. I would love to make a version of this sauce without the sugar because it was nicely spiced.
I'm not normally a huge fan of vegan mayo, why have mayo when you can have hummus? However, I recently made amazing coleslaw with the Plamil Garlic Mayo. I bet it'd be good for dipping chips in too. Mmmm!
