Alpro blueberry soya yoghurt / blueberries / frozen banana slices / maple cinnamon vanilla granola / Aldi own-brand chocolate chips
I like to have soya yoghurt with fruit and add-ins as a quick dessert. It's lighter than ice cream but still a sweet treat, and also good way for me to get more of a variety of fruit and nuts into my diet. The granola I made myself using a mash up of Maple Spice's various granola recipes. I combined maple syrup, Pure spread, vanilla and cinnamon, and used the mixture to coat porridge oats, following the recipe's directions. I also added in chopped mixed nuts for the last ten minutes of cooking time. It turned out really well and now I'm looking forward to trying different variations. Granola is easy to make, the only challenge is keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn't burn in the oven.
