☆ Vegan chocolate chip cake from K.C Peaches on Nassau St in Dublin City Centre. I thought it looked a bit like a fruit cake but it was a lovely, moist, cinnamony cake slab with chocolate chips.
☆ The Foods of Athenry vegan gluten-free chocolate brownie cookies. They are a bit dry but have a strong cocoa taste which is quite moorish.
☆ Nobó dairy-free ice cream. The salted caramel flavour is their only vegan variety at the moment as the others have honey in them (boo hiss), but I appreciate that they at least have a vegan option. Maybe they are open to using alternative sweeteners and will someday make their whole range vegan.
☆ The texture is perfectly ice-creamy but light and the flavour is caramelly without being overly sweet. I couldn't taste much salt but that didn't take away from it. I got a little 100ml tub for €2.69 from a fancy SuperValu, which is great value for a nice little snack.
