Supermarket displays of turrón are an indication that the Christmas countdown has begun! Traditional turrón is not vegan as it tends to be made with eggs, but there are a few vegan varieties available, usually marzipan, coconut or dark chocolate.
Here is a Mercadona own-brand coconut and chocolate variety. Tastes exactly like you would imagine, dessicated coconut with a chocolate layer at the bottom.
