Black Salt

Like nutritional yeast, kale and chickpea flour, black salt has become a fashionable staple of the vegan blogger's kitchen.
It's an Indian, pink, sulphurous salt which mimics the taste of eggs.
It sounds obscure, but I managed to get a packet in Continental Foods on Talbot St in Dublin for under €2. Its a good addition to chickpea flour omelettes, and I imagine it would benefit anything that's meant to be eggy, such as quiche, scramble or egg mayonnaise.
